I have been wanting to make a master list of all the funny things Stella says, but the scraps of paper and the books I have been using all seem to go missing. So…I think I will do it here and at least I will always know where it is.
Age 3 and a half
While talking about going to a farm for her birthday I tell her there will be ponies there to ride.
S: “And maybe there will be a unicorn to ride too!”
Me: “Well probably not, I don’t think they have a unicorn.”
S: “But MAYBE they do right?!! Maybe!!”
Way to keep the hope alive Stella

While watching the Olympics:
S: ” I want to skate in the Olympics. But you mighta have to hold my hand. Because I fall down.”
While watching bobsleigh:
S: “I like the green one. I want to do that all by myself!”
While setting up a fort in her room, her Dad had an idea involving hockey sticks and Stella looks at me very concerned and says “Mom…should he be doing that?”
Age 3
While playing with some rocks in a parking lot:
“I’m making a hockey game for the fairies to play.”
Age almost 3
S: Where are we going?
Me: Daddy is going to pick up his truck at Nanny’s house.
S: Perplexed expression “But it is too heavy for him to pick up.”

Age 2 1/2
Waking up in the morning: “My mouff is SMELLY!”
” I say you can’t…but you can.”
“Sometimes when they rhyme, they don’t.”
After Stella put her shoes on the wrong feet, I took them off saying “Let’s put these on the right feet.” She starts screaming and crying and pointing at her feet and then says “I DON’T WANT THEM ON THE RIGHT FEET! I WANT THEM ON THESE FEET!”
After going to an Earth Day Festival she refers to it as “the Festa-Hostable”
After I tell her that she can’t watch so much TV because it isn’t good for her she says “But it makes my tummy feel better.”
