So…living in your hometown has its perks. One of my former teachers is organizing a big (big in a small town anyways) fashion show for a grad fundraiser and it occurred to me that it might be fun to get my handbags into it. I remember being a model in the same show way back when. I now have 10 models to dress (yikes!) and so I branched out into clothing design to give them something to wear along with the handbags! So far it has been a lot of fun, and I am enjoying the new creative challenge. We do have a lot of people asking if I make anything in adult sizes, so I thought that some funky summer tops might be a nice addition to the store collection anyways. The show is March 11 and 12, and if you are local and interested in coming you can get tickets by calling Correlieu Secondary (992-7007). I am going to keep the designs to myself until after the show, so you will just have to hang tight for pictures….or come to the show!

We are also changing our hours starting March 3 which means you can stop by Tuesday to Friday between 12-6pm. Coffee is always on if you want to come by for a visit! I am planning to be in the shop Tuesdays and Fridays and Cindy is here the rest of the time. See you soon!
